Frequently asked questions

General Booking

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are required for Facials, Body Waxing, and Event Makeup. Walk-ins are always welcome, but if you prefer a specific time or plan to visit during peak hours, we recommend booking in advance.

What services do you offer?

We specialize in brow threading, waxing, Cluster/Flare lash extensions, facials, skincare, makeup, and brow/lash tinting—all conveniently located inside Walmart.

Lashes

How long do Cluster/Flare lash extensions last?

With proper care, Cluster/Flare lash extensions last 2–14 days. For best results, you can schedule a touch-up in between if needed.

How long do strip lashes last?

Strip lashes are designed for single-day wear and should only last one day.

What should I do before my lash appointment?

Arrive with clean eyes and no makeup (mascara, eyeliner, or eyeshadow). This helps the adhesive bond better and last longer.

How do I care for my brows or lashes afterward?

Keep the area dry for 24 hours, avoid oil-based products, and don’t rub or pick. You’ll receive full aftercare instructions at your appointment.

Brows

What is the difference between eyebrow tint and henna tint?

  • Tinting uses semi-permanent dye to color brow hairs for 3–4 weeks.

  • Henna also stains the skin, giving a fuller, more defined look that lasts up to 2 weeks on the skin.

Is threading or waxing better for brows?

Both give great results. Threading is more precise and natural, while waxing is faster and leaves skin smooth. The choice depends on your skin type and preference.

Waxing

How long should my hair be for waxing?

Your hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice). This allows the wax to grip effectively. For thick, coarse hair, ½ inch works best.

Should I exfoliate before waxing?

Yes! Exfoliating with a body scrub helps the wax grip the hair directly instead of cutting through dead skin cells and oils.

What can I do to reduce pain during waxing?

You can take ibuprofen or aspirin 30 minutes before your appointment to minimize sensitivity. For a Brazilian wax, arrive 15 minutes early and ask about a numbing spray.

What if I get redness or a rash after waxing?

Avoid lotions or oils, as they may increase irritation. Do not use ice or apply anything cold directly to the skin. Shower immediately after exercise to keep follicles clean and bacteria-free. For the first few hours, avoid sweating and heat, and keep the area clean.

Can I shower before getting waxed?

Yes, but take a warm shower—not hot. Warm water opens pores and helps hair come out more easily.

Can I wax during my menstrual period?

It’s best to wait about one week after your cycle before scheduling a bikini wax service.

Can I drink coffee or alcohol before waxing?

It’s not recommended. Caffeine and alcohol can heighten skin sensitivity, making waxing more uncomfortable.

Can I shave between waxing appointments?

No. Shaving disrupts your hair growth pattern. For the best results, stick to regular waxing appointments.
